What is Potter's Field Kids?
Potter’s Field Kids started in San Martin, El Salvador, with an orphanage that was home to ten precious boys. Since then, this number has grown to 20 boys and continues to look to minister to more. These are provided a Christ-centered environment to grow into the men God has called them to be. With two sets of house parents, each boy receives the love and attention necessary for proper spiritual and physical development. The boys receive a solid Christian education at Colegio de la Iglesia Evangelica del Dios de Israel in San Salvador. To the orphanage ministry was added an afterschool program that can currently accommodate more than 100 children. With a long waiting list, the program could easily triple as soon as the facility is ready for them.
As the ministry in El Salvador has grown and flourished, the Lord has expanded the ministry of Potter’s Field Kids into other locations around the world. Currently, we are also ministering to children through our afterschool programs in Entebbe, Uganda in partnership with Calvary Chapel Entebbe and also in Amlan, Philippines. We are excited as we continue to view more locations and opportunities that are just on the horizon.
We are so thankful to be a part of the work the Lord is doing in El Salvador, Uganda, and the Philippines and we are confident that this is just the beginning.
